The Chorleywood Offering
Over my time being a resident and an estate agent in Chorleywood I am still excited by people’s attraction to this area. Here are to name but a few of the reasons Chorleywood has grown to be the popular area it is today.
People move here for a number of reasons, namely quality of life; the rural area comprising of 250 acres of Common, coupled together with great transportation links (Metropolitan Line & BR Chiltern Line) ensuring the area is number one for commuters.
Quality of schools – great award winning Ofsted schools both primary (Russell School, Chorleywood Primary School, Christchurch School & secondary (St Clements Danes School) – state & private (Charlotte House/Royal Masonic School).
Local/Be-spoke individual shops – ie Butcher/Baker/Candlestick maker/ Fishmonger. On receipt of your Sewell & Gardner Reward Card if renting, then you will of course be entitled to a number of great offers and discounts on the High Street.
Family community – lots to do for new mothers; coffee mornings pre-school children activities gym-tots, kiddeydivey, library story telling. There is also a newly formed Chorleywood mums website for local information and activities (http://www.chorleywoodmums.com/).
Many activities to pursuit horse-riding, golf, walking, art appreciation, drinking (there are many pubs here Rose & Crown, The Stag, The Black Horse, Land of Liberty, Peace & Plenty, The Gate) and of course dog walking.
Come and see for yourself and then we know you will be banging on our Sewell & Gardner door to register with us! Or for further information call 01923 285886.
