At Sewell & Gardner we know the importance of keeping our customers happy and ensuring that they remain with us year after year, and recommend us to their friends and family when they need property information or assistance.
Due to the continued increase in the private rental sector during 2012, we have expanded our award winning Lettings team and we are conscious that many of our landlords may find themselves dealing with team members who they do not know.
To coincide with this year’s Rickmansworth Starlight Evening, here at Sewell & Gardner we decided to invite all of our VIP Landlords (we call them our ‘V.I.L’s’) to a Landlord Soiree. We were surprised to know that over 190 of our Landlords have been valued customers since we started trading in 2002. We wanted our V.I.L’s to know just how much they truly mean to us, so they were invited for some mulled wine, Tamarind Thai nibbles and a chance to catch up with the Lettings team as well as to meet some of our newest members of the team.
It was a great night for the V.I.L’s that could make it into our High Street Office, and gave everyone a chance to get to know each other. (Even if this did mean a few felt quite old when reminded they had dealt with the company for over 10 years now.) Also the newest members of the Lettings team enjoyed themselves as they were able to put names to faces for when dealing with there property in the future.
During the night, we also had the voting for our Children’s Christmas Card Competition where all of the 40 entries were on display along the wall, up the stairs, in the door and in the sales office illuminated display. Voting for this became the popular choice on the busy High Street with both the Lettings and Sales offices receiving over 90 votes from the passing public.
The winner voted for by the public and V.I.L’s was Lily from Nascot Wood primary school whose ‘Mr Penguin’ design has become the Sewell & Gardner Christmas card for 2012. Lily also received 50 copies of the card to give to her friends and family plus a Legoland annual pass for her and her family to enjoy.
