At Sewell & Gardner we are always keen to get involved in the community and are enthusiastic about sponsoring local events. Recently Katherine Foot, a Sarratt resident who we got to know when her family sold and bought through us, asked if we would be happy to sponsor Sarratt village’s firework display. Of course we were more than happy to get involved and quickly had numerous sponsorship boards put up around the village.

As well as fireworks, there were also various stalls selling food and drinks, a fancy dress competition for the kids and a Guy Fawkes competition for the families. Sewell & Gardner bought and wrapped the prizes ready to be awarded to the lucky winners on the night.

We wrapped up warm and arrived at King George V playing fields for 6.15pm. With mulled wine in hand, we found and congratulated the winners of the competitions before joining the hundreds of other spectators to watch a fantastic fireworks display lasting about half an hour!
