Rickmansworth Estate Agents To Get A Soaking

COMIC RELIEF is FRIDAY MARCH 15TH

3.30pm

Rickmansworth High Street by Iceland

Sewell & Gardner Do Something Funny for Money

Once again this year Sewell & Gardner will be donning their finest feather boas, deeley boppers and very very wet t-shirts to fund-raise for Comic Relief.  Our trainers are still hot from our Pancake Race efforts, in aid of Watford Mencap, but charity work is important to us as a company and so we press on with our next event…

‘Soak the agent’ has become somewhat a local tradition, giving the general public the chance to really get their own back on Estate Agents!

The public can part with their hard earned cash in order to throw soaking wet sponges at a variety of our staff who are securely restrained in stocks!

Did you know Estate Agents are the third most hated profession (source: bbc.co.uk), in the UK,

beaten only by traffic wardens and bouncers!

It is for this reason, that for a day we like to poke a bit of fun at the ‘stereotype’ we are tarred with and give the public a chance to vent their frustration against any bad experiences they may have had in the past (with other estate agents of course)!

We hope this is our opportunity to show the public how Sewell & Gardner are more than happy to take the fall for all those terrible agents who give us a bad industry name!!

This is the 25th Year in which Comic Relief will be gracing our screens hoping once again to raise huge sums for vulnerable young people in the UK, as well as providing aid and necessary health care for children in Africa.

Last Comic Relief  Sewell & Gardner raised over £400 for this great cause, and are hoping to match or slash that this year.  As regular charity fundraisers, we have seen first hand how money donated can change local communities and peoples lives, and this cause is certainly no exception.

So at 3:30pm on Friday 15th March, you will find us on Rickmansworth High Street (opposite the lettings office) shaking our buckets, and offering ourselves up for a soaking, all in the name of charity!

For just 50p a throw you can not only donate to this fabulous cause but also vent any frustration you might have!

We hope to see you there – Reagan Bradley
