The second year starting up our lettings department has been great, we’ve really started to make a dent in the market and are seeing an increase in rental properties coming to us. With the tenant fee ban coming in to play back in June, we noticed our fee structure and service we offer was starting to stand out a lot more against our competitors. Showing clearly there will be no hidden, admin or add surcharge fees within our terms, has given our landlords the reassurance that they know what they are paying from the outset. Along with this, we also launched our referencing, rent guarantee and legal protection service, included within the fees we charge. Our aim is to give landlords and tenants the best service possible from start to finish and we aim to start that from the moment that first conversation takes place.
We have a great team of people within the department, bringing an abundance of experience from all different areas within estate agency. This is what is helping us build organically and is allowing us to strive on the service we want to provide and push forward to keep winning new business and grow the team even more.
2020 is going to be a strategic year for us, collating new ideas together in ways we wish to expand our business in order for us to be the market leader. We are feeling very positive heading into the new year, with the awareness about our Lettings department starting up again growing, we are certain 2020 is going to be the year we really start to see some serious growth.
