Here at Sewell & Gardner we are delighted to introduce our new Chorleywood Sales Team:-
We welcome Kate Woodward as Branch Manager. Kate previously worked as the branch manager at Hetheringtons in Chorleywood for a number of years where she gained exceptional local knowledge and built up great relationships with local people. Kate has proved to be a fantastic leader and created an excellent team for our Chorleywood office.
Chris Woods also joined us from Hetheringtons, having worked for Kate for 4 and a half years, progressing from a Trainee Negotiator to a Senior Negotiator. Prior to embarking on his career in estate agency, Chris owned a florist shop in Northwood for 7 years. His job title at Sewell & Gardner is Senior Property Consultant and we already have many success stories to report!
Sam Brown (wood is brown…!) is our Office Administrator. Prior to joining Sewell & Gardner Sam was studying in Southampton for a degree in illustration. Going from a creative messy studio covered in paint is very different to administration work but this just shows how flexible and keen Sam is to learn; her colleagues have described Sam as the glue which holds everything together.
Sophie Walker (walk in the woods) offers sales support for the Chorleywood team and seems to have taken to it like a duck to water! With a property developer as a father, Sophie thinks that property is ‘in her blood’ and has always had a keen interest in the property market. Having previously worked in childcare, in order to work her hours around her 10 year old son, Sam is adjusting to a complete change of environment but her manager Kate has been very impressed with her approachable, friendly and hard working attitude.
The team have gelled really well and Sewell & Gardner are very happy to welcome The ‘Woods’, and their team, back to The Wood!
In order to celebrate this new team and also display the newly refurbished office, they hosted an opening party on the 6th June, where they invited everyone in Chorleywood to come and join them for a glass of Prosecco and a cupcake.
The turnout was fabulous and the event has been deemed a resounding success, with so much positive feedback from people who attended the party and some great new relationships formed as a result. Kate said “It was a lovely opportunity to speak to local people, some familiar and some new faces. We even had a musical preformance from one of our favourite clients, Bob Arthy, who drew the customers in with renditions of popular songs and one, which we are especially fond of, which he wrote himself about us!”
Have a listen here – we’re sure you will agree with Bob’s sentiment, we certainly do!
If you missed out on the party please feel free to drop into the office at 47a Lower Road and say hello to the team, have a nice cuppa and admire the office.
You are always welcome and the team would love to have a chat!
So after a few glasses of Prosecco, S&G cupcakes and a good chat, we have welcomed Kate and Chris back to Chorleywood and to Sewell & Gardner. We are thrilled to have them and look forward to posting some of their success stories in the near future…watch this space!
