A fond farewell to the Letting Agency of the Year trophy

The Lettings Team say ‘Goodbye’ to the trophy but promise their service remains better than ever…

2013 WinnersThis week our lettings department had to return the fabulous silver trophy they won last year at The Times & Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards, in readiness for the 2014 competition, being held at the London Lancaster Hotel on Friday 20th June.

At last year’s ceremony the industry’s top prize of  ‘Overall Winner of the Awards’ went to our lettings and property management teams (Pictured left to right:  Julia Pennell, Reagan Bradley, Jane Gardner, Ben Smith & Rochelle Latham),  when they scooped 5 of the most highly prized gold awards during the judging process:

  • Best in Region (East of England)
  • Best UK Small Agency
  • Best UK Property Management (up to 200 properties)
  • Best UK Lettings Negotiator (Rochelle Latham)
  • Best UK Property Manager (Reagan Bradley)

The competition judging panel, comprised of many top industry professionals and overseen by the Property Ombudsman, concluded that our team ticked all of the right boxes and had found the right balance between exemplary work ethic and giving back to the local community.  They felt that we were ‘at the top of our game and full of blue-sky thinking’, the overriding sentiment being ‘simply the best’.

Jane said “Winning the Oscar of the property industry was a pivotal moment for our company and one which we will remember forever.  However, we will always strive to be better and we will always give back to our customers, our community and our industry peers, by sharing all that we know about lettings processes and legalities, about our local area and about our fantastic community.  We are sad to say goodbye to this beautiful silver cup, but we will never say goodbye to our high standards of customer service and our ethical practices, ensuring that renting a property in this area is free of stress and full of happiness.”
