It’s October again, that time of year when the leaves are changing to yellow, gold’s and orange and Halloween is fast approaching. Don’t even mention Christmas!
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons. It is getting colder but is fresh and there are still some lovely sunny days, especially with the Indian summers we now seem to have. Some days are better than the actual summer we had! Autumn is still a fantastic time to sell your property before the magical season of Christmas is upon us!
I get the feeling that people are under the impression that it is not a good time to sell? The way the current market is, seasonality doesn’t really affect selling. Traditionally it was always Spring and Autumn that were the best times to sell your property but we have noticed a shift in this due to the way the market currently is. The market in Chorleywood has seen low stock levels for the last few years which has helped push selling prices up. Mixed with the slow turn over and low level of property in the area as a whole, this means that demand for property is still incredibly high this Autumn.
There is still a huge shortage of stock in Chorleywood and the surrounding towns and villages, meaning there are lots of great buyers still looking for a new home before Christmas.
