Having only joined the company two months ago, I never thought I’d be standing amongst builders, electricians and all the other workers involved in the making of our new Chorleywood office, making decisions and bossing them all around, which obviously is not something I’m used to doing…
As for the Chorleywood office itself, it has been great to watch it develop from just bricks and mortar to what I am looking at now, which is a finished office. There is so much fine detail which goes into the building of an office, especially when you want to make sure it has a welcoming feel so we like to make sure we add our own personal touches. As we now have four branches, we like to ensure that there is continuity throughout all of them so every detail counts. It is such an exciting part of my job and it’s such an achievement when you see it through from start to finish. As I have been down in Chorleywood for the majority of the last few week, I’ve been able to spend a lot of time in our current office with the team and it’s been a great to get to know them all better and gain an insight into an estate agents lifestyle. My Manager Sammy has been a great person to learn from, she has given me great scope, direction and 24/7 support which has allowed me to develop new and current skills in the short space of time I’ve been here. With the encouragement, trust and friendliness of everyone within the Sewell & Gardner team, I feel like I have been here for a long time already and I can’t wait for what is to come.
