Children’s Christmas Card Competition

Here at Sewell & Gardner we needed a new Company Christmas Card to send out to all of our clients and we wanted to be inspired by all local children’s artistic talents. The competition was open to all Primary School Children in the local area and the prize for the winner was a LEGOLAND® PREMIUM Annual Pass at LEGOLAND® Windsor for 2 Children and 2 Adults. They would also win the winning design being put onto Christmas cards for themselves to give out to family and friends. We had lots of lovely entries and knew it was going to be tough to pick a winner, so we left it for members of the public to vote at the “Rickmansworth Starlight Evening” on Friday 30th November 2012.

The Rickmansworth Starlight Evening takes place all along the High Street and is brought together by the local shops, businesses and many of the schools and community groups. At the evening you get to enjoy performers, funfair, winter market, music, food and the children’s firm favorite, Santa’s Grotto!

Happy Children

After all the votes were counted, we found out our winner! Sewell & Gardner thought what best then to surprise the winner with chocolates, balloons, a certificate and of course their LEGOLAND® prize. Lily in Year 5 from Nascot Wood Junior School was our winner and was a little shocked to be surprised during class. Lily is very excited to have won and was happy to pose for pictures with her winning entry and other entries from Nascot Wood Junior School.

Lily has never been to Legoland so was even more excited to be able to go there for as many times as she can with her family for a whole year! Congratulations to Lily and her winning entry who we have named Mr. Penguin. Sewell & Gardner would like to wish Lily and her family as well as all our other entrants a very Merry Christmas.

Mr Penguin

Merry Christmas
