After working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer for 4 years, I thought it was time for a change, time to start a prosperous career for myself. This is when I decided that becoming an estate agent was the right career choice for me. Not for any company though, I decided I wanted to work for Sewell & Gardner specifically as I had heard such great things about this award winning and expanding company.
I’m only two months into starting my role in the Chorleywood office as a Property Consultant but I have quickly realised that I have definitely made the right decision in taking the leap from the fitness industry to estate agency. Every day is different and dynamic, there’s always something interesting going on in the office. I have learnt so much about the property industry in this short period of time and I know there is so much more to learn going forward which is an exciting prospect.
As an independent estate agency there is definitely a very welcoming and family feel at Sewell & Gardner which I think is amazing compared to some other corporate companies, in various industries, which make you feel like just a number on payroll. Everyone within S&G is very much willing to help if you ever get stuck and will always find time for you. If you are thinking about beginning a career in estate agency, I would highly recommend it, but more specifically – I would highly recommend beginning a career with Sewell & Gardner!
