I was the last of the Sewell family to get involved in property and now I live and breathe it!

In 2002 my brother called me and said he was opening an estate agency and did I want to come and run it, now nearly 16 years later I am running the 2012, 2013 & 2014 Sunday Times Best Small Estate Agency in the East of England.  Quite an achievement I think!

My business philosophies are to keep it simple, treat the customers like you would expect to be treated yourself and provide simple, professional and honest advice.

I have always admired estate agents and in 2014 I was given the opportunity to work for Sewell & Gardner at the Chorleywood Branch, before moving over to our Rickmansworth office shortly after. In 2017 I was delighted to be promoted to the role of Senior Property Consultant and I have recently moved over to our Watford Branch. My role entails carrying out viewings, agreeing and progressing sales as well as carrying out valuations. I think that my experience working in different branches within Sewell & Gardner has broaden my knowledge and improved my skill set.

What I love about my job is meeting new people on a daily basis and building strong relationships with them. It’s always a lovely feeling when you help someone find their dream home and I look forward to the many years to come.

I have been with Sewell & Gardner since September 2016 and have worked as a Property Consultant in both our Residential Sales and New Homes teams. I am currently working in our Watford branch and having grown up in Watford I have extensive knowledge of the local area. After returning 18 months later, I was delighted to join the team at Sewell & Gardner again. Since then, I have gained experience in both Residential Sales and New Homes and developed my knowledge of the company and industry. I am now supporting the Managing Director in all areas of the business, implementing and managing efficient systems and processes which are pivotal to the growth and success of Sewell & Gardner.

I have worked for a number of corporate and independent estate agents over the years and feel this experience will blend well with the hardworking team already in place. My role is to oversee lettings on a day to day basis across all 4 offices and grow market share for an already well known and successful brand, with key values that epitomise the ethos within this family run business.

Very happy. Professional photographer for the photos, all viewings accompanied and feedback provided swiftly. A lengthy and drawn out legal process in the chain was chased regularly by the team and our sale and purchase completed at the agreed sale price. Amazing service. Sold our flat through the Watford branch and from the word go they were fantastic. Joe made us feel relaxed and excited about selling our property. As for Ben, we cannot sing his praises enough. Constantly keeping us updated and answering any questions we had. Forever chasing solicitors etc. Nothing was ever too much!
