Jackie’s Ricky Hotspots

I have worked in the S&G Rickmansworth office for many years and I love the local area. Here are some of my favorite places that I would recommend to go in Rickmansworth-

Prezzo: Brand new Italian Restaurant in The High Street. Stylish decor and great food! Perfect for a quick dinner after work or meeting up with friends at the weekend. There are also tons of other places to eat in Rickmansworth, Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants to list a few.

The Feathers: A lovely local pub with great food and drinks plus there’s a comfortable seating area outside with heaters for the winter. There are quiz nights and you can hire out ‘The Wing’ for private parties.

Cinnamon Square: A master bakers in the Town Centre. Sells delicious cakes and great breakfasts’. There’s also plenty of other coffee shops and Brown Sugar is great for a yummy sandwich – I recommend number 15 on the menu!

Marks & Spencer: Everyone loves Marks & Spencer and considering we have a Waitrose and Iceland in the Town Centre too Rickmansworth is very well equipped for supermarkets!

Vanilla Hair Salon: Relatively new to the high street, a modern hair salon with competitive prices. There’s also Broadway Barbers for the boys and Tips and Toes for any beauty needs.

Love to Boutique: A lovely little boutique to pick up a pretty dress, there’s also M&Co which has a fab children’s clothing department.

William Penn Leisure Centre: Great gym with pool, sauna, steam room and lots of exercise classes. Opposite is a playing field perfect for running if you don’t fancy working out indoors.

Aquadrome: A public park and nature reserve which is really pretty and perfect for walking the dog. There is the cafe in the park for grabbing a coffee of a bite to eat to refuel and ice cream vans in the Summer. Chorleywood Common is about a mile from Rickmansworth and is also lovely. 250 acres of open space which is great for walking and The Black Horse is a great place to go for a lovely Roast Dinner.

Metropolitan Train Station: The Train Station means that you can be in London in around 30 mins, taxis are readily available and there are plenty of buses so you can always get to and from where you want to be.

M25: is only a few minutes’ drive from the Town Centre and with no traffic you can get to Heathrow Airport in 20 minutes and Gatwick Airport in under an hour.
