It is only a month since the Sewell & Gardner sales & lettings teams walked away with 3 customer service awards at the ESTAs competition, presented by Location, Location, Location’s Phil Spencer and yet the lettings team, based at 103a High Street, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire can now add 2 more presetigious awards to their ever-expanding trophy cabinet.
On 25th May, Jane Gardner, Alex Sewell and some of the hard working lettings team; Reagan Bradley, Rochelle Latham & Donna Waldron, headed up to the Lancaster London Hotel,W2 for this years Estate Agency Awards, in conjunction with Lettings Live, the Times & Sunday Times newspapers.
The morning was filled with newsworthy seminars (see following blog) and an inspirational speech from 4 times Olympic Gold Medalist Rower Sir Matthew Pinsent, who kindly passed his sparkling medal collection around the audience. You can read Sir Matthew’s awe-inspiring story here
So after a fabulous lunch, the Awards began and Sir Matthew was on hand to hand out the Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards for the specialist categories, the regional awards and then the overall winners for each type of award: Single Office; Small Office; Medium Office & Large Office.
Sewell & Gardner lettings had been shortlisted for the Customer Service Award and Best Small Office, Central Region. It was a tremendous delight to be the very first agency called up to the stage to win the UK Bronze award for Customer Service, behind Young London & Streets Ahead.
It was then quite a long wait through half of the regional winners until the Central Region announcement started and a complete surprise when there were no runners-up in our region, and the Gold Award was announced “Sewell & Gardner” to a massive cheer from table 2! http://www.estateagencyoftheyear.com/regional_winners_lettings/central/
