I’ve been based in our Croxley Green office for a month now and it’s feeling like home already. The team are great and we are really beginning to see the progress made since the branch opened in April this year. Previously I was based in Chorleywood for many years, where I grew up as a child and where my mother still lives. I also have family and friends who live in Croxley Green so I know this area very well too.
The difference between the two areas is actually not as big as many may think. They both have extremely good schools, great transport links, green areas, access to walks in the countryside and parks for children, but the housing is slightly different. Croxley Green has more property in total due to their being more semi detached and terraced homes, whereas Chorleywood comprises of mainly detached properties. Chorleywood is know for it’s high end properties, however, there are also many of these in Croxley Green, in locations such as Copthorne Road and Old Barn Lane, both located off the Green. The Green in Croxley is an incredibly desirable place to live, with lovely character Cottages with stunning views of the rural surroundings. There are also many events held on the Green throughout the course of the year, most prominently the Croxley Revels and Classics on the Green which we are sponsoring this year.
The price per square foot for the areas is now very similar as well, which shows how much growth there has been in Croxley Green over the last 2-3 Years and the demand for the area seems to continue.
The Sewell & Gardner Branch in Croxley Green will continue to go from strength to strength, please contact us on 01923 777704 if you would like an up to date market appraisal or any advice.
